In America, we spend a lot of time talking about illegal immigration, but many people refuse to acknowledge that LEGAL IMMIGRATION has also turned into a big problem:
I could not agree more. We need and should welcome talented, hard working people that want to excel at whatever they do, and contribute to and not live off of American’s wealth, and who want to be here because they love it. We don’t want and should not allow in people who want to live off the American taxpayer or who want to come here and destroy America (think, for example, Congressman Ilhan Omar, literally one of the worst immigrants ever, who lied to get here and now works tirelessly to destroy America from within).
The extremist left want illegals here. If they had their way, illegals of the worst type - ignorant, incapable, easily bought off for a pittance would replace every conservative citizen in the country. Why? Because for many on the left the only supremacy they can hope to attain is over the dreck of humanity. They want their rarified fiefdoms tended by the slaves under their rule.
Joke's on them and what will be their short-lived nirvana. Without the conservatives illegals have replaced, who have the intelligence, skills and work ethic to keep our country from being just like the countries from which their replacements left behind, this, too, will be come a failed country.
I've always been shocked at the blatant stupidity of the illegal alien enablers. Thank you for spelling out the obvious and logical reasons why we should not allow illegal aliens. When I see the creeps- mostly progressive losers or illegals themselves- protest against their removal by ICE, frankly it fills me with rage. They demand rights that they do not possess, namely the right to ignore our laws, and to attack the federal agency, ICE, that is vitally necessary to secure our borders. I know math is not their strong suit, but you'd think that even those low IQ morons could see that US, with our population of about 335 million, versus the world's population of 7.5 billion, would mean that we can't afford not to have border security, as long as we are handing out freebies and cannot easily kick illegals out. Of all the reasons for starting a national divorce, or civil war, this would be a powerful one for me.
Agree 100%. One other point my mom would always make when I was growing up is along that final line--if we are truly taking the best from all the other countries, what does that do to or for all the other countries? We take their best, leave them their worst?
The kindest thing we can do is NOT allow their geniuses and best to come here. If all the very best people stayed in their original nations, they could be the ones best able to help lift their own nations up. They share the culture and genetics and language already.
I vote that it is mean to US to bring in less than the best from other nations--but it's mean to other nations to bring in their best here, too.
I think your mom was 100% right about it being kinder to other nations to leave them with their best people and several people on that thread echoed her sentiments. I think differently though. My response to what Naval said, which he liked, by the way, was....
