I would like to figure out really why the leftists want an open border. You go with the create a voting bloc and dilute the conservatives explanation. Then there is classic Cloward-Piven which is darker, I think. As I understand it, the idea is to break down society and cultural norms to such a degree that nothing works and people will cry out for the government to take charge of everything and fix it - and thus we arrive at complete socialism. This deserves a good analysis and you are probably the one to do it. Your writing is beautifully done and very clear and very pointed.

Leftist mayors all claim to "detest this racist and inhumane human trafficking," all the while looking the other way while the coyotes who use the unsecured border smuggle in young girls as sex slaves, for drugs and gang/cartel "soldiers." That's trafficking, but their B.S. ideology won't let them admit it. Of course any party that would praise the work of the affirmative action press spokesperson like Karine JP for claiming the borders are secure yet calling out Abbott for what- shipping "phantom" people? If the borders are so secure, then who are these migrants they complain about having to deal with?
I think you are missing an opportunity here. Get in touch with Elizabeth Warren for an interview and ask her if she doesn't think it is outrageous that Martha's Vineyard is not taking its 'fair share' of illegal aliens. With luck, she'll get through her sputtering fit and lecture you that there are plenty of Dem voters in MA. It's TEXAS that needs to be turned blue by importing illegal aliens.
Since blue states and municipalities love to virtue signal by ignoring federal laws concerning immigration, but hate when they are expected to deal with what that looks like in actual practice, perhaps we should give them a chance to demonstrate their commitment to other "virtues," i.e. "legalizing" illicit substances, "bail reform," and their "tolerance" toward those squatting in homeless encampments.
Offer potheads, recidivist criminals, and people who want to or have to live on the streets, a free bus ride to all of the supposed "sanctuary" jurisdictions, especially those where the "evil rich" among liberals live, so they can "pay their fair share" in local expenses to deal with it, coupled with plummeting property values.

As much as I understand the philosophical reasoning for supporting Republican governors for doing this, when I take a look at the 30,000 foot aerial view, Republican governors are shipping illegal immigrants INTO our country and spreading them around. I'm not denying their humanity, nor am I saying that I don't find it hilarious to see all of these liberal leaders eating their own word salad.
But at the end of the day, is it any better for those border states to ship illegals into our country? When lets be honest, the blue states probably don't care where the immigrants go once they're there. I seriously wish we were able to just peacefully escort illegal immigrants who are caught out of our country, hand them a pamphlet that shows them how to legally gain access to the United States and where to go, say "good luck" and keep doing that. It just sounds like the conservatives are contributing to the problem just to "own the libs" and I think there's danger in that too.
