Charles Barkley is not always ideologically consistent and has about a coinflip’s chance of being right when he says things, but he does a knack for cranking out statements that catch people’s attention. This is a great example of that.
So, as a starting point, let’s just note that it’s not really popular to be racist…on the Right anyway (there are all sorts of wildly popular anti-white and anti-Semitic racists on the Left).
