I've read a lot about this phenomenon, including your previous essay on this subject, as well as articles written by Abigail Schrier and watched interviews when her book "Irreversible Damage" came out. I've read the stories of people who have de-transitioned and listened to many podcasts on the subject. First, I find it absolutely frightening that this type of mania is running rampant in this country, and that there are people who promote, encourage, and assist emotionally troubled people, from children as young as 4 to early adolescents, tweens, and teens to make decisions they are in no way capable of making, and to take actions that have horrible and devastating life-long consequences. Second, how in God's name can schools, teachers, psychiatrists, lawyers, doctors, and activists get by with this stuff? It is an abomination! How is this not child abuse? Has the world gone mad? These mis-guided and abused kids generally come from broken homes, often no father present, and a fair percentage seem to belong to the upper middle class and above.

I can't help but conclude that the lack of family cohesion and stability, as well as parents who, if there is an intact marriage, both work outside the home, seeking and/or having gained access to the social strata that requires single minded dedication to a profession is what leads to this outcome. The children are trophy pieces, left in the care of paid providers, no material need unmet, but little nurturing takes place. They have 24/7 access to the internet, and roam it at will, with no guide to steer them away from the darkness and evil that is omnipresent. They are imprisoned in indoctrination daycare centers, otherwise known as government schools, taught by mentally sick adults who have no moral compass and apparently hate kids. No, I know that isn't a correct statement. They don't hate children. They are simply brain-washed zombies who are immersed in a psychotic trance, mindlessly spewing the propaganda they were fed in universities bent on the destruction of our republic.

I know I sound judge-y, but these kids aren't healthy and there is a reason for that. They don’t get that way without a lot of help.
