'At the end of the day, it really is “okay to be white,” and white people need to be much, much more intolerant of people who reject that idea.' You've knocked another one out of the park, John; and I see it as my duty to share and repost it.

Is there anyone dumber than Joy Reid? I mean she epitomizes the old joke, “dumber than a bag pf rocks.”

I appreciate this piece, as it calmly and rationally explains the title. It angers and frustrates me when I hear members of my own family ask me what I'm going to do about my white privilege, as if I've committed some sort of crime or owe some sort of reparations to non-white people. The ironic thing about an idiot like Joy Ried is that she always proves the opposite of what she says. She cannot stop obsessing about race, and braying that she is smarter than white people, esp. the "evil ones" like Donald Trump. Bragging that she is in fact a DEI hire, with apparently no understanding that it means she was hired by MSNBC in spite of her lower intellect and likeability than an otherwise more qualified white person. I hope the Father, on Judgment Day, swoops down on these moral degenerates like a thousand pound guerilla!

Nope. Being proud of race is crap behavior. Being proud of any identity other than "what positive did I accomplish, or what positive can I accomplish" is also crap behavior. I recently got canceled on my FB feed from a long-time gay friend. He was posting a bunch of "gay pride" stuff on his page. I told him that being gay did not make him special. That he is no longer a qualified victim... in fact, he is privileged in today's society being gay as so many drip with craving to show how overly tolerant, they are... and gay pride parades for example, are an example of that. I asked him where they straight parades were? I asked him if we should have parades of biological male-female parents of children? Wow did that set him off. That is the problem with people... going from oppressed victim to oppressive special person lacks any firewall... EXCEPT... the principle that none of that matters. It is only our actions... the color of our character that matters. And Joy Reid is just an awful human being no matter her gender or race. She accomplished nothing but division and hate.
