If there were a list of the top 100 memes of all-time, this one and the variations of it would definitely be high up on the list. That’s not just because it’s frequently used; it’s because so many people seem to agree with it. In fact, I’ve never heard anyone disagree with it, although those people must exist:

All that being said, one thing you don’t hear discussed very often is, “What is a weak man and what makes him different from a strong man?”

Of course, some of this is subjective, and there might be an exception to the rule here and there, but this is not an impossible question to answer. We can look at the differences between the Romans when their empire was expanding and when it was about to end. The Greeks were once the Cradle of Civilization, and today, they’re a giant welfare state. The Brits had an empire that spanned the world and they fought the Nazis to a standstill in WWII, while today? They’re arresting people for hurting someone’s feelings with a meme. Even in our count…
