Where I live, progressives spent a lot of time protesting Act 10, a law that restricted rights of public employee unions to negotiate with local politicians about their contracts. They would chant; "Shame, shame" at anyone who supported that law. None of the disastrous consequences they predicted ever came true, in fact things got a lot better financially in my state. (I was one of those AFSCME workers who was supposed to be so f-----d, but our pension system is now 100% funded, which is very rare in the US). Has anyone of them, or their allies, ever come forward and said sorry, we were wrong, and it was wrong of us to attack your integrity as well as your ideas? Heck no, they just pretend it never happened, or worse, try to come up with lies to prove that they were somehow actually right all along, in spite of the facts. So this Covid variant whack-a-mole will continue, the left will continue to scream that Trumpists are going to infect us all because they won't wear masks or get shots, because they know- or think they know- that no one will hold them accountable. But they're wrong again, because God is watching, and He will judge the liars and power crazed.
