Elon said enough's enough; but Trump said we need to get elected so we can stop the Left, and we can't if we cut back on all the existing entitlement programs. You can't beat Santa Claus, and fiat money/monetizing the debt is the tar baby we stuck to. I wish I could be more optimistic, but Franklin was right about voters and the treasury.
