Change number 6 would be: Stop replacing American voters with illegal immigrants. Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson have done research that shows how many conservatives have simply had their votes cancelled out by a flood of illegals encouraged by Democrats for the purpose of creating a permanent Democratic majority. Number 2a would be: Make sure every voter pays some taxes so that they have skin in the game. How do we expect people who get more in benefits than they pay in to ever vote against Santa Claus? Just as a big picture argument, I feel that there is very little common ground between the left and the right. Progressivism has pushed the left into policies that I can't accept as a compromise, like reparations for slavery- and now perhaps for illegals who came here and were "traumatized" when their kids were required by a Federal judge to be removed from their parents who were held waiting trial. So Trump responds, very rationally and humanely by saying "gotta remain in Mexico while awaiting your hearing, cuz we don't want to break up families," and the on the first day in the oval office Biden rescinds that policy. No common sense, just power politics, and if works out bad, well, the main stream drive-bys will stop covering it because it don't fit the narrative. BTW, how often do you see the left move in the conservative direction to compromise? How about bipartisan Joe, doing everything he can with no Republican votes- except for the dumb RINO's... About redistricting. I figured a non-biased way a long time ago. Start at one corner of the state and start counting people. First, by County. Then, by Precinct. So, in California's case, divide the Census count of eligible voters by 54. Then, subtract the first County's population from it. Then go east and do it again. Repeat the process until it results in a negative number. Then, that County needs to be split by Precincts. Now, you have Congressional District CD-1. Repeat the process until there are 54 Congressional Districts. Do it again for the Assembly Seats which, in California's case is 80. For the State Senate, two Assembly Seats equals one Senate Seat. DONE.
Things aren't getting better, I have said for years nothing will happen until things get very very bad. Maybe not a civil war but another great depression or an over the cliff fall. People do not change there mind until reality hits them in the face. It's sad we have to go through this, but until it is evident that the left is leading us to a disaster nothing will change.
While I personally like all of your suggestions, only about half the country (minus 1, apparently?!) would be willing to subscribe to them! And the other half (plus 1, apparently?!) would rather continue status quo! And why not?! Simply because the Left represents the other half of the country and this is their country now! Not that the Left is in the majority, but since they control all the levers of power nationally and the ‘sheeple’ are sadly asleep to that fact. Nor does it look like the ‘sheeple’ will ever wake up!

And every institution of power in this nation, all of which are now controlled by the Left, wants and needs us to go ahead and jump! For America must fall in order for the New World Order to ascend! That is the sad reality of today, and only God can change it! I wish it were not so, but I have watched my entire lifetime of 79 years as good men like Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump and Billy Graham tried so desperately to halt our slide into the abyss.
