Democrats are always claiming that the next “free” giveaway or government program is going to give everyone a free unicorn, a leprechaun’s pot of gold, and make the whole country into a Utopia.
One of the saddest things about our government, probably any government, is that good, honest, peace loving men of high ethical principals and intelligence would never make it as a politicians, even if they wanted the position.
I have a bulletproof way to stop inflation dead in its tracks. Ask yourself this: What's the one thing that inflation doesn't automatically make more expensive?
So here's what we do: We simply reclassfiy everthing in the economy, from candy bars to aircraft carriers, as "employees."
Yeah, I have a lot of concerns about that policy because as a general rule, I think if you don't pay income tax, you shouldn't be able to vote. On the other hand, Trump is already floating the idea of replacing the income tax with tariffs and I honestly think AI/robots are going to soon eradicate a large percentage of the jobs out there. I don't know what the best solution to that is unless it miraculously creates so much abundance in the process that we can spread it out. There's not enough revenue for a universal basic income, which has the same problem. It's just one of those things where we're about to go into uncharted territory and it's hard to know how things will look after.
I wish you would run for president, and I'm not even joking!
That is very kind, but I don't lie enough to be a viable candidate.

Then NOTHING will ever get more expensive.
According to Grok 57.2% of households make less than 100k. So we're just going to have it so that basically 60% have no skin in the game?
There is a quote about how democracy can't exist as a permanent form of government...
We're living through it.
