I'm not so sure wokery is a conscious choice, but the people who are entrenched in it, and buy into it are psychologically inclined to be or become damaged and broken. They lack the ability to think for themselves; they generally contribute little if anything of substance to society; they are easily propagandized; they are unhappy, weak, envious and don't like themselves. All good reasons to limit exposure to them, which like you, I do.
Woke is all about behavior. Who you are attracted to isn't a choice, but who you sleep with is. It may not be a choice to *feel* out of place in a male/female body, but it is certainly a choice to chop off or turn inside-out what you (or your children) do have, and then render yourself (or your children) permanently incapable of reproduction or reproductive pleasure. To say "I did it because I had no choice" is the ultimate cop-out. Most of the time, people who say that are really making an *easy* and *fashionable* choice, sometimes without even realizing.
People are inclined to become damaged and broken because all people are flawed individuals by their very nature. All children are born lacking the ability to think for themselves. The ability to contribute to society substantively and resist propaganda are things that must be taught. Those are among the most important contributions of the family unit to society, regardless of cultural underpinnings.
So no, I don't believe for a second that wokesters are victims of circumstance or somehow inherently weak-willed. In all probability, it was their parents who failed them first and worst.
Hear, hear! TRVTH laid out in a fashion that even the least sensible among us, yes, that would be the above mentioned woke people, could understand. In my experience, when exposed to this sort of common sense, conforming to logic and historical experience/ information, the woke person dons the altered 3 monkeys pose- Eyes shut, ears covered, mouth open babbling nonsense so they don't have to be exposed to this kind of "macro-aggression." Thanks for posting this essay, John
Woke is being damaged or broken. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.
Nah. Myself, not so much. Wokery is a choice. My patience for people that make the choice to damage/break themselves is extremely limited.

I don't disagree with, and in fact affirm, everything you've said. You've gone deeper than what I said in my comment and elaborated on it.
