A woman in my neighborhood is a personal trainer. We were at a Christmas party and she is wearing a tank top...it was 34 degrees out. I could not help myself and made a joke..."suns out guns out" her response..."you just can't handle a powerful woman" . I told her flat out...you have zero power, you are not in your womans gym so check yourself. "I deadlift 225 for 5"

I then showed her the video of me deadlifting 405 for 14 reps and shoulder pressing 225 for 8. Conversation ended .

Yeah, I've seen that video of the woman's "self defense" demonstration before. Note that she doesn't even demonstrate any particular skill or technique. She just flails about wildly and after a few seconds the men fall down for no apparent reason. Obviously they were told they were supposed to fall after she hit them a couple of times. It might be plausible if the woman demonstrated some real martial arts skill. But this woman did not. If she thinks that she could take on two men who were really trying to do her arm like this, and then confidently puts herself in a dangerous situation, she's is in for a very rude awakening.

I'm an overweight old man with medical problems who was never that athletic in my best days. I don't suppose for a moment I could take on two healthy young men simultaneously like that. But then, I don't live in a fantasy world.

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I saw an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where Kim had just taken a self-defense class. Bruce Jenner put her in a headlock from behind, and she tried to flip him off of her. He didn’t budge, not even an inch. I realize that Bruce was an Olympic athlete, but he didn’t play along like her class teacher most likely did.
