CO2 never could cause global warming because the IPCC's greenhouse gas warming theory is not only garbage science but it relies on a circus shell game of energy double-counting, claiming that CO2's back radiation is absorbed from Earth's surface and returned to raise the temperature higher than the Sun did before it even left. Learning how the shell game works makes detailed study of climate science a waste of time. Instead you should spend your energy fighting them until they are dismantled before they do too much damage.
