Thank you for this bright spot of optimism. We all need to be reminded. One of the wisest pieces of advice is often to "wait a bit". The problem may fix itself or vanish all together or the best way to handle it may come later rather than right now. As you point out, much of what looks like possible disaster often isn't, or it gets fixed in a way no one could have predicted. That doesn't mean coast along doing nothing. It just means relax, rejoice, and do all you can to make your own life, and others, as good as it can be.
Well, you took me way down the deep dark rabbit hole and left me believing again. Yep, it might take a bit, but I do think there will be a resurgence of truth and honor. Fingers crossed.
John, this is a perfect article for this time. I cannot tell you how many conservative friends have voiced similar thoughts about being doomed, there is no hope, etc. Personally my Christian faith keeps me going in these horribly dark times, although it can be a challenge to rise above the negativity to see the positive. And I do believe God is on the move in America and elsewhere even if we cannot see all His hand is doing.
Democrats believe in open borders that destroy cities (says the mayor of NYC) and working class wages, that people can change their sex that destroys the rights of women to privacy and their ability to win in sports’ competitions, they encourage homelessness and crime, and discriminate against Asians seeking education.
Republicans deny the climate change that threatens humanity, hate vaccines which promotes disease, believe that this ( . ) is a baby which destroys women's rights, and support a sociopath for president.
A pox on both their houses, I am a political atheist.
