Leftists have no argument. Their ideology is their religion, and they are true believers. No fact, no truth, no persuasion will budge them. Your advice is perfect - "Be a good person, be colorblind, do the right thing because you think it’s right, and stop bowing down to the race hustlers."

When I was growing up in the 1960s and 1970s, every white person I knew was very sympathetic to the problems of black people. They felt bad for black people and wanted to help fix their problems. I'm not saying there were no racists in the country, but I didn't know any. There were lots of white people who were very anti-racist. Okay, most of them were anti-racist in theory, but weren't doing anything about it. But they certainly weren't racists.

In just the last few years, I've noticed a profound change. More and more white people I know are fed up with the perpetual search for grievances and accusations of racism. They're losing their sympathy for black people's problems because they're coming to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what they do, it doesn't matter how non-racist or anti-racist they are. It will never be enough.

Is it fair? No. From every opinion poll I've seen, most black people are not extremist race hustlers. They just want to be treated with respect and live their lives. They're not making constant impossible demands. But a small number of liberal race-hustlers -- most of them white, actually -- are poisoning race relations.

I always think about the question that assumes facts not in evidence: "when did you stop beating your wife?" Bad faith, bad motives, bad actions are implicit in the question, so the answer is: "nice try, how about you don't load the question in a way that I can't answer without admitting something untrue?" That's the way it is with "Racist!" now- just the accusation scares the crap out of people, because of the cancel mob, no one wants to risk that, so they kowtow. I don't, so I'm considered a right-wing extremist by many ex-friends, and family members. The big difference is, I know where I'm going when I die, and that my words will be judged as truthful and unashamed, of my skin color and my belief in revealed Truth from the Bible.
