PS Upfront: Using violence or the threat of violence to achieve political aims...I'm pretty sure there's a word for that.

Leftist ideologies have been associated with politically motivated (or justified) violence since there have been leftist ideologies. It just that many, many, many more of them are now willing to engage in it or at least facilitate it.

...riots & looting, arson, "defund the police," ignoring rapists b/c the rapists serve a perceived political purpose, ignoring murderers b/c the murdererss serve a perceived political purpose, murdering perceived political adversaries, etc...

When you consider that the left is primarily comprised of females and feminized, weak father, low-T males that lack the "protect others in the family and tribe" gene that real men are blessed with and have planted by their strong fathers, none of this inclination toward violence is surprising. However we have a bigger problem in that the Democrat Party exploits electronic media and uses Madison Ave. advertising psych-ops, but 100% negative, to emotionally terrorize these people and send them off to do violence. Stopping the violence requires that we cut off the head of the snake. However, the snake is the globalist, corporatist, ruling class with all the money and power, and it has hired the feminized cohort as their managerial power to keep pushing the crap.

The media and the left propaganda machine has one goal- turn young mentally weak people into the cannon fodder for the left’s war on America and The West.

I had a discussion with my doctor this morning that ties into this. It was basically all the problems with the health insurance industry. They have put shareholder returns ahead of the the health of the people that they insure. If they deny a claim or do not give a pre-approval, many times you have to spend hours over several days on the phone to get them to do what they are supposed to do under the terms of insurance you are paying for. My health insurance plan through my employer changed for this year. In December, a month before the change, I received a letter from the new company stating that they would not cover two of my meds. I was flabbergasted. These two meds have been around for at least 50 years and are low cost. I can pay for them out of pocket for less than the copay my insurance wants. That is what I have been doing.

There contract with the pharmacies do not allow the pharmacy to inform you that it is cheaper to pay out of pocket than use the insurance. In fact, it was my current doctor who told me this a few years ago, so those prescriptions go to a pharmacy that does not have my insurance information. They know I am paying out of pocket so I pay the their price, not the price the insurance compony tells them to charge me.

I received a follow up phone call from the new insurance company two weeks before the policy change. They wanted to send me to one of their doctors to get a different medication. I told them no thank you, these meds work well for me and I will not be changing them. They do not have the many side effects the newer meds have. One is the only one that effectively treats my heart condition. I was informed that they would not pay for those meds. I said, not a problem, I will continue to pay out of pocket for them because it is much cheaper than the insurance copay. I also am confused as to why you want me to switch to meds that are more expensive and less effective.

A couple of weeks later I received a letter from them. They re-evaluated my situation and determined that they will cover the two meds for the standard co-pay of $20 a month. Funny, my out of pocket cost when I do not use their insurance is $10 a month.

Now, on the other hand, I take two very new meds that are each about $1000 a month. These two have been the only effective treatment for my migraines. I have a form of migraines that presents like a stroke, and if left untreated, can cause a stroke. It was diagnosed after I had a migraine related stroke 17 years ago. It took two years of therapy to get back 95% of my normal functioning. The insurance reviews their coverage of these meds every three months. They always say they will no longer cover it.

Every time, I and my neurologist appeal their decision. I tell them if they do not cover it, they will be on the hook for a few hundred thousand when I have a stroke. Not only will they have to cover the hospital bill, but the year or two of rehab services. I pay quite a bit more out of pocket to get their best coverage which covers major medical at 100%.

Two years ago, my insurance paid out over $500,000 to diagnose my heart issue. I had to go to a research hospital 400 miles from my home for the specialized testing and diagnostic services that only a few hospitals nation wide can perform. So covering the expensive medications is a bargain for them.

So, they follow up with a 3 month approval. Every time I always ask them how much money do they spend to pay there doctor that reviews my medications and the pre-approvals for my medical care and the 40 or so employee hours they need to re-evaluate my appeal, which I also send to the state insurance commission. So they also have the added costs associated with the extra paperwork the state makes them complete for each appeal that goes to the state. If I were running a business, I would not be in business long if I always increased my costs to deal with the legal aspect of not fulllfilling the contract to be ordered by the court in the end to satisfy the contract and pay damages. I never get an answer.

This is a long introduction to get to Luigi Mangione. My primary care doctor is a Canadian, trained in Canada, but moved to the US because he can earn double what he could in Canada, and not deal with all the red tape that socialized medicine places on him and greatly limits what he can do for his patients. He is liberal but a fantastic doctor.

I asked even with all the problems of the US health insurance industry, does it justify what Luigi Mangione did? I got the answer I expected, no way. There are better ways to address these issues than taking the life of others to make a point.

I remember the assassination attempt on President Reagan. I was a young and dumb liberal at that time. I did not vote for Reagan. I recall that the dems condemned the assassination attempt. I would never condone political violence. Once the election is over, the person elected president is the POTUS and deserves the due respect of the office from all Americans. That is how I was raised and what I was taught in school.

The progressive liberals and dems are doing everything they can to force their will on the rest of us. They only believe in the peaceful transition to a new president if that person is the one they backed. I fully expect a civil war to break out in the near future. I am doing what I can to prepare for that. I hope it does not happen because we could easily lose our current Constitution and everything else that allowed us to become the most prosperous Country in history and lead the world in so many things.

I am not surprised though, the dems were the ones that started the first Civil War. They have not learned the hard lessons from that Civil War. If they had, they would not be pushing for Civil War 2.0.

In the past, the left had reasonably intelligent people behind movements in the past, such as MOVE and the Weather Underground, with well-articulated ideologies and understandable grievances. Compare with the recent attempt by a person whose manifesto who states he's sick of having a pedo president.

Sorry “intelligence” and Weather Underground??? You mean the extremely violent Weather Underground that bombed US Capital?

They're Marxists. We keep using the word "left" when we should be using the word Marxist. Marxists exist to destroy. That's their reason for being. There isn't anything they won't do, anyone they won't kill, anything they won't destroy. Wipe them from the face of the earth by any means necessary, or they will destroy this country.

You shouldn't have killed George Floyd. Fucking weak ass hypocritical bitch. You get what you fucking deserve.

They really aren't going to like the counterpunch when they realize the right has most of the guns and men.

Ellen Roehl's avatar

I don't know. The left is better organized. I can't think of very many revolutions where the right wins.

Bob Knudsen's avatar

Sure your can. They're just called civil wars instead.

There's always this excuse for the libs/left/marxists: "oh, they're just venting because they can't stand to lose." As if lacking emotional maturity and analytical thinking skills gives them a Hall pass. The idea of putting people in camps doesn't sound so bad to me anymore, to tell you the truth. A lot of these violent nut jobs contribute very little positively to this country anyways. Is sheriff Joe Arapio still alive? On the bright side, those wishy-washy conservatives that are always tempted to compromise with the libs on gun control might actually pick up that ringing "clue phone" when they realize how dangerous that would be to them. How many times do we have to see this pattern play out? Thanks for posting these reminders and the sources, John.

well since they are funding both sides its a win/win

A lot of good points, but the Pelosi thing was more of a lover's spat spun by the media to blame the right.

Kind of like surveying muslims and asking if violent jihad is acceptable.
