What the critics on the Left also can't honestly say is that his wealth is the product of the mixed economy of money printing, central planning and government subsidies. You can't be critical of Musk and then not recognize the environment that enabled that artificial wealth.
In a truly free market, Musk would be rich (because of the value he created and may create in the future), but not as rich as he is.
