At my great age of 80+ years, I just say "bless their hearts" and scroll on by; but protect the children from parents who get drawn in to the idea that their tomboy girl really wants to be a boy or their sensitive boy really thinks he's a girl.
I don't know if it's possible for adults to be helped who are so mentally ill they believe anything good can come from their aberrational and delusional thinking.
I think the earlier you get to people, the better chance you have of helping them. Once they've surgically mutilated themselves, all their friends are left-wing loons that will abandon them for going the other way and they'd feel like idiots for suffering so much misery and then having to admit everyone who told them they were making a mistake was right, it's going to be hard to break through.
Yes! Everything possible needs to be done for children, prepubescents, and teens to help them before they reach a life-altering change that will forever leave them mangled physically and destroyed emotionally. I pray for them. Parents of these children need just as much help, and if they refuse, relieved of their parental duties.
I couldn’t agree more. Calling a chair a door doesn’t make it so. Expecting a straight man to want to date/marry another man who wants to play make believe and dress up, and cut off his private and put on a dress, would surely fit into any definition of mental illness.
