In my personal and professional life (I am a nurse in an adolescent mental health facility), I decided to stop lying 18 months ago. It is one of the Ten Commandments: Thou shall not lie. I feel so much better. Cleaner. I simply avoid 3rd person references or I insert the name or I use the correct pronoun. If anyone mentions it, I repeat God's commandant and say I obey it.

John, this has to be one of the best, most careful expositions of something I have been saying for quite some time. The left and the alphabet lobby scream that we are "transphobic," but how to get them to understand that most folks don't hate or feel disgust toward them?(Unless they are grooming kids, then both start to become quite prominent.) No, we pity them, and wish they would be willing to seek help... Especially considering the suicide rate among dysphoric people. I have seen, firsthand, what happens when foolish people cater to a broken mindset. As a sometime instructor, I see altogether too many parents allowing their kids to use digital heroin (tech, social media, games, etc.) because little Timmy seems to behave better, or at least, is less effort to control and raise.
The only caveat I express in regard to the article is that the secular humanist psychological community is not a support that can be trusted. They used to consider homosexuality to be a mental illness, before the cultural Marxists at universities shifted the baseline. (But that was not too difficult in the first place. The Humanist Manifesto of the 1930s was a Who's Who of Leftist Educators, like that monster John Dewey. It also included liberal, unbelieving clergy, assorted psychologists, doctors, and scientists, among others. As an aside, DSM-5 pathologizes many types of grief, and is antagonistic toward Orthodox faith in certain areas.
I am a Reformed Christian, and that means my worldview through which I filter life is Scripture. As such, I am reminded of when Paul wrote to the Church in Corinth: Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers shall inherit the Kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you are washed. But you are sanctified. But you are justified, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Those of us who are Christians recall, or OUGHT TO, the horrible pit that we have been pulled out of. I remonstrate people who are dysphoric, not out of hatred, but because I DON'T hate them. If I hated them, I would be happy to let them ruin their lives and endanger their immortal souls.
People are committing terrible acts against children with what they believe, or act as if they believe, to be kindness. But this isn't about what is good for children suffering from mental anguish. It's about adults using them to build their own credibility within their peer group, reaping the perverted reward of false virtue. Anyone promoting and assisting children to be mutilated and rendering them sterile belongs in prison.
This is a very well written, yet easy to understand & follow! Great article and it sums up how I feel. As a recovering addict/alcoholic who has been to two dozen rehabs, as well as the hospital psych ward for depression & suicidal ideation, and working for five years as a substance abuse therapist, I look at things through a lens of addiction. Most of these kids are the exact age when people begin, or are already balls deep in, substance use and experimentation. They begin consuming porn, some are habitual shoplifters, and all of them are hyper-sexualized with an over emphasis on not only sexuality, but also running up in anything they can get their hands on! In other words, they are honing their skills to either dive into active addiction with an eventual dependence on painkillers, tobacco, alcohol, or heroin, or a behavioral addiction like sex & masterbation, or shopping, perhaps gambling but probably not so much. Self-harm & cutting will be over represented in this group. Many of them will be loyal customers to Big Pharma and the government, because they will do whatever the govt tells them to do since they don't want to lose their Medicaid!
Having painted this picture, I want to say how are doctors, psychiatrists, and social workers not investigating thoroughly for substance abuse, disordered sex life, clinical depression, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and autism spectrum? Why aren't they looking at sexual trauma more closely? Too many little girls have been m.ol.es.td by creepers like our sitting president and they assign the blame on the fact that they are a woman with a vag, and they no longer want to be a woman with a vag so they trans into a man with a vag and get pregnant and give birth and wax poetically about how men give birth all the time and it's so common and you're the weirdo for not being balls deep into men who get preggers and give birth! And speaking of balls deep, who are all these dudes who run up in these trans men and pound their load in em? I can accept pregnant men, I just can't accept that someone hit that! Seriously though, it looks to me like transsexualism and transvestitism is more often a manifestation of a mental disorder, similar to how using drugs was a manifestation of addiction for me. I had friends who weren't attracted to heroin but practically popped a woody when we'd talk about dice, poker, and horse racing. He spent a lot of time at the casino, it was his drug of choice. These young people are lonely, confused, distraught, and missing a sense of purpose. Modern life, even for people like me who are poor, is incredibly easy in America. Without a struggle that assuages them morally like Civil Rights, feminism, Take Back the Night, those things...they feel useless. So they create some problems, get on the frontlines with a pre-planned solution, and pretend like they're being genocided. They are no different from the Jews in Germany in 1937 they say. Accept the trans folks have an entire month where they get to beat each others cheeks on top of a float in a parade in Nebraska with people clapping & tossing money at them for their bravery & perseverance through a holocaust of intolerance! When people run out of money to throw, they throw their little children at them! Now THAT has got to be a mental illness! Even the drag queens are mentally ill for having such an incredible magnetism to reading to young children and twerking for them! So it's clear that everything having to do with this topic is mentally ill. America has been conquered!
