The simple imposition of the requirement for photo ID for voting would instantly smash Democrat political power for ever. It is all a gigantic fraud.

How does that stop the 3AM preprinted ballot dumps? They're Democrats. All they do is lie, cheat, and steal.

DAVID HANLON's avatar

Yes that also needs to be addressed by banning postal ballots.

That'll make a crooked count more difficult, but they've always stuffed the vote. Dead people, illegals, people registered to parking lots.

If criminals don't follow gun laws, what makes you think the election racketeers will follow election laws?

They do and that requires counter actions, but that is all superstructure built upon the basis of no voter

ID.

I live in CA and to hell with the liberals taking all the coastal area. More of the north coast should be included in the conservative side... the liberals can take the southern desert as they are occupying more of that territory leading to Las Vegas.

Trump and the federal government need a national legislative bill passed to require voter ID for all national elections. California Democrats might be able to figure out a way to separate state elections from national elections to do their state dirty work, but if voter ID is required for national elections, the Democrats will likely lose their supermajority in the state and then no split would be required.

I hate it for you in whichever blue state you're living in. It will change though once the inevitable crisis or conflict plays itself out soon enough. The blue urban bubbles are at a considerable strategic disadvantage that few, if any of them, can fathom. Just ignore them and their plights like the 73%-74% of us that live outside their hellscapes keep doing more and more.

In addition to The Gerrymandering / Redistricting War of 2025 link in my separate comment above, you will enjoy these two Red Land, Blue Flame articles from a few weeks ago:

Spread the good news and any of all this you so desire. They're written to empower and educate the People when it comes to dealing with the 2.5% of the citizenry who are just modern-day Loyalists. Their futures will be the same as their ilk in 1775-1785.

Be prepared!

It's wholly unrealistic this time around just like all the other times in CA and other states where the urbanites in their tiny blue bubbles and the People in the vast swaths of red in the suburbs and rural areas conflict like they do ever more the past 30-50 years.

I write extensively multiple times a week on all this over on my Substack PLUS I'm the author of The Second Bill of Rights that will be published on July 4, 2026. The SBOR handles all these issues readily, easily and plainly. Their titles and short explanatory blurbs come out next Thursday 09/04/2025. So, consider subscribing to The Second Bill of Rights on Substack.

https://thesecondbillofrights.substack.com/

With respect to The Gerrymandering / Redistricting War of 2025, if you need definitive & comprehensive information on that and how the SBOR deals with it and how the leftist will lose and lose easily there, go start with this article wherein I collected a host of definitive content and links.

It's handy for cutting-and-pasting all you want!

Lastly, feel free to send @TimElliott my way any old time. I dismantle fringe elements like that every day. Query if there even is a real person behind that essentially empty channel even. Only two subscribers and no substantive long-form content in just under a year. Whatever!

Agree about Tim, of course. He has a lot of vitriol and little sense to what he writes. Anyone can start a substack, with no subscribers. He jumped right to a civil war history, as if a state splitting in two is the same as half the nation attacking the other and forming their own nation. If he could reason and research at any level, he might have checked if the USA "balkanized" itself when West Virginia split away from Virginia, or South Carolina from North Carolina, but that would pull the rug from under his argument, wouldn't it? And instead of looking at recent history, where Newsom and his enviro wacko friends destroyed dams and divert water into the Pacific instead of using it for irrigation, he babbles about about artesian wells. The more he writes, the goofier he gets...

I love your response. I really did laugh out loud over it! More please! hahahaha

Separately, did you have an opportunity to become a free subscriber to the SBOR’s Substack? That and spreading its good news almost daily is what the team and I here really need a lot of in September. You are our audience and the future of our Republic, so let’s get on this more and more. It’s only 10 more months until publication date . . . thank you for your comment and consideration. Steven

Ah, but who gets to draw the map? If they gerrymander the border between the two states, it could just become two big blue states that are still one giant hell hole, but with two more senators.🙄

I agree. It's their whole line of thought though. Newsom is even putting it in his fundraising mailers. There is a Governor's meeting once a week with 23 D Governor's. They are even talking about not sending in taxes, especially if money is withheld. Slow walking processes. Pretending there are glitches. Anything and everything to hinder and slow the administration.

Why would a hater like Tim care about what conservatives would do amongst themselves if the state were to split in two? Leftist losers like him get way to much pleasure from being able to rule over the conservatives in California and he and his ilk will never let them go. It saddens me that such a once great state has become a hellhole for socialist dirtbags that can't govern reasonably or responsibly. Now that lowlife Newscum plans to screw conservatives over again!

Hopefully, the Trump plan to have a mid-decade census will relieve California of several of the seats they are trying to steal in a state already gerrymandered to the extreme benefit of liberals. Liberals in California may be able to squash conservatives in their state, but their future in the country is looking dimmer everyday. The tide is turning Red. The pendulum is swinging to the right harder and faster then ever before, and it has lots of room to keep going. The left is bankrupt of leaders, policy and ideas. All they have is hate and TDS. It's quite enjoyable watching them be miserable for a change.

The fringe left elites have done the math months ago and know the same thing their counterparts do as well. It's political suicide, but that's all they have left.

The brutal, hard math is set out right here for folks to take comfort in:

The Right's endless tantrum for division and separation is nothing but dangerous political bullshit from self-righteous frauds (Exhibit A: Benny Johnson).

Lincoln read America the riot act in 1861 and what was true then is true now: the essence of secession is anarchy--and that's what you're proposing. You want a state that doesn't have the laws and the culture and the facilities and the taxes and the press you find so disagreeable. You want a culture that reflects you and NOT those other people. And you want to police that and control it; why else have it if you can't? And there's the problem. If the pissant Right can split off from people it hates and fears, then the even more extreme versions of pissant Right can split off from them again into ever-smaller, ever purer versions of extremism. If you actually think you're "like-minded" with people who trade in these easy, superficial abstractions, you're being naive. If you think today's conservatism is some kind of peaceful consensus of "cultural" homogeneity and amicable agreement, you're a sitting duck for the stronger who'll run you. Try reading a little history. It's right there to see.

If the Republicans ever achieved their wet dream they'd live in the Disney version of Mississippi circa 1920, a feudal wasteland of romantic echo-chamber anti-empiricism without all those threatening "facts" and all that frightrening "science" and those snobby "colleges" and that terrifying "medicine" from "experts". Gallagher is nothing but a grandstander seeking attention. You've never spent a moment of your life living under the conditions you say you want. It's safe and fun and good self-promotion to take a position like this because you know it won't happen. But that's where this all goes, John. You won't find refuge in this petty dread.

What a goofy comment. If you want to impress us with your knowledge of history, why not start at the beginning, instead of the Civil war. You know, the "Taxation without representation" crowd, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Patrick Henry, those guys who lead the American Revolution? John's essay is pretty clear spelling out Newsom's plan to strip the rural citizens of their voice in state governance. Yes, they would be giving up on beaches and ports, but maybe they'd be able to get water for their farms and not have their tax dollars used to bankroll bums who'd rather do drugs than work. The coasties think the inlanders are a bunch of hicks anyways, but of course they want to control them and milk them for taxes. Try educating yourself about the left's ideas (Tim Walz supports it) on eliminating the electoral college before you pontificate about "dangerous political bullshit from self-righteous frauds".

Go back the part about me trying to impress you, you whining, poor-me, resentful victim with a chip on your shoulder. I'm not.

You fancy yourself a "bad guy". You aren't. You're harmless.

You want to shut yourself away from 21st century reality and revel in how much better that makes you, be my guest. The "coasties" are your own kids fleeing your moribund towns. Your own "bums" are Oxy addicts standing outside pill-mill pharmacies--what jobs are there for them, making I Phones in their kitchens? You don't need those dadgum city boy elites ripping you off when you have Joel Osteen and Peter Popoff buying Lambos and kiddie porn on your sucker dime. You don't need enemy invaders when you confront epidemics with thoughts and prayers, treat viruses with horse meds, and vote to make FEMA disappear before hurricane season.

You think you live in Mayberry? Look around. Any doctors, nurses, dentists left there? They didn't get their advanced degrees out of Trump University vending machines. Taking your prescription meds? Can you recite those chemical formulas? Bet you can't but those coastie elites can. You're welcome. (If this science stuff is hard for you I can recommend some Flat Earth and Creationism pages on Facebook.) Here's something easier: this whole Cracker Barrel circus, that's a hoot! Good small town rural folk run Cracker Barrel, right? The ticker symbol is (NASDAQ: CBRL). Big owners include institutional investors such as BlackRock and Vanguard. They aren't inlanders, I'm guessing. You want an old white guy on the logo? Anything you say, Jethro. Pay up, see you next 3:00 dinner special. You're not just a guest, you're pure profit.

Water from wells for "rural citizens" farming? You live in what, 1810? Have you ever seen commercial agriculture in the Central Valley? Maybe that's where your jobs are. Now that your Golden Calf has chased the migrants out, there's a lot of work there. Bad news is, one migrant is worth four of your subliterate high school dropouts for a day's labor in the orange groves. Ask the growers. They're in business in 2025, not living in your dewy fantasy. Those inlanders aren't part of your bunch of hicks. They're probably MBAs and PhDs. They can't afford to be angry parochial children demanding vengeance and voting for the biggest gold-plated liar the country ever saw in the name of "culture".
