One of the best things your lists have done for me is when you recommended BedJet. I bought one and have never slept better, night after night. I might never get out of bed if I replaced my almost 20 year old mattress and gosh knows I need a premium desk chair. Care to reveal the brands and style/types for the ones you have?
I still use my bedjet in the summer. It's great when I need it. IMO, the mattress and chair brands I have aren't that important, it's that I checked out a lot of them and got nice (I try to get mattresses in the $1000 - $1500 range -- some are MUCH more expensive) ones that seemed to really be comfortable to me. Staying in a lot of hotels that have different mattress types helped in figuring out that I like a bit of a harder mattress.
Oh darn. You mean I should actually try out some beds and chairs, in person at a store? Guess I'll stick to what I have. ha ha Truly, I hate shopping, and my last effort at trying out mattresses before selecting the one to buy turned out to be a disappointment. But, you mention hotel mattresses which reminds me that Hampton has it's own furniture line and I've probably slept on at least a hundred or more Hampton properties beds, 90% of which I've found to hit that sweet spot of just right - not too hard, not too soft.
Thanks for the thoughtful and inspiring list.
